September 21st, Chandigarh: The 108 Peace Institute, in collaboration with the University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, organised a talk on ‘Law, Ethics and Political Leadership’ by Dr. Lobsang Sangay. The talk was attended by more than 150 students and the faculties. Dr. Sangay was warmly welcomed by Dr. Shruti Bedi, Director of the University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University.
During the talk, Dr. Sangay mainly talked about some of the life experiences that might help the students. Dr. Sangay spoke about the journey to Harvard University from the Delhi Law Campus. Dr. Sangay remarked that if you think it is difficult to achieve, you must really try to achieve it. Only then, will you be in a position to make yourself different from the rest.
Dr. Sangay spoke about some life experiences, including the formula of ‘Three Things’. Be it a media interview or job interview, you must always have ‘Three things to say’, ‘Three things to avoid’ and ‘Three things to expect’. For instance, if you are going for a job interview, you must have ‘Three things to say’ regardless of the questions. It can help you prove your worth. Likewise, this formula is applicable in every aspect of life.
Dr. Sangay presented a copy of ‘Voice for the Voiceless’ to Dr. Shruti Bedi, the Director of the University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University. The talk was also published in the local media prints like Dainik Savera and Punjab Kesari.
