On 20 May 2026, the President of the 108 Peace Institute, Dr. Lobsang Sangay, was warmly welcomed by the Parents-Teachers Association of Sambhota Tibetan School, Darjeeling, during his sojourn in the beautiful hill town, to deliver an inspiring talk to the students. Drawing on his personal journey, academic achievements, and leadership experience, Dr. Sangay shared valuable insights on the transformative power of education, perseverance, and ethical leadership. He encouraged students to strive for excellence through hard work, discipline, resilience, and integrity, while emphasizing the importance of self-confidence, compassion, and service to society.
